Easy Reports System - new January 2015 

Concept:

Easy Reports is an Electronic Web based Reporting System for submitting both Elected and Appointed officer Reports every month.

 As I am sure you have all noticed, getting required reports from all officers does not always happen. The primary reason is that honestly, it is a time consuming pain to submit a written report. Time is a valuable commodity for Auxiliarists, so we developed an easier and faster way to submit these reports in the hopes of increasing the number of submitted reports each month.

I think most Officers are faced with a couple of common questions each Month, which are “What information needs to be included in my Monthly Report”… and second…. “Who needs a copy of my report?”

The Easy Reports System takes care of those two problems for you. 

How Does it Work?:

 The Easy Reports System is hosted on the District 13 Website at http://a130.wow.uscgaux.info/

Log in to the District Site using your Memberzone credentials….. this is the same Login that you use when filling out your Web Based 7029 Frms.

 On the left side menu of the District 13 Website, you will see a Menu Item right above the link for the National Help Desk titled “Easy Reports”

Once you click on that menu item, you will see a page that describes the Easy Reports System as well as giving you a reference indicating when Monthly Reports are due for each office.

 You will see links on the left appear for each elected or appointed office that you currently hold.

Clicking on the name of the office you wish to submit a report for will take you to the Monthly Reporting Form for that office.

 Submitting your report is as simple as filling in the blanks on the form and then clicking on the “Submit my Report” button at the bottom of the form.

It really is that simple!

Responsibilities:

Submitting Reports:

 As a District 13 officer, you are expected to complete a monthly report summarizing the activities of your department.

This includes months where "nothing happened". What was done, how it was done, who helped, etc. are important parts of your report. Easy Reports are an easier and faster way to submit your monthly report. Four steps and you're done!

Viewing Reports:

As Flotilla Commanders (FC's), Division Staff Officers (SO's), Assistant District Staff Officers (ADSO's), District Staff Officers (DSO's) and District Directorate Chiefs (DDC's): you are responsible for viewing submitted monthly reports summarizing the activities of your department prior to submitting your own monthly report to your next level officer.
